Charles Blé Goudé makes first appearance before the ICC

On 27 March 2014, Charles Blé Goudé appeared before the Single Judge of Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Judge Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi, at the seat of the ICC in The Hague (The Netherlands). The Single Judge set the date of the beginning of the confirmation of charges hearing in the case for 18 August 2014.

Today, 11 June 2013, the Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court (ICC) rejected the challenge to the admissibility of the case against Laurent Gbagbo, suspected of crimes against humanity, allegedly committed in the territory of Côte d’Ivoire between 16 December 2010 and 12 April 2011.
Pre-Trial Chamber I adjourns the hearing on the confirmation of charges and requests the Prosecutor to consider providing further evidence or conducting further investigation

Today, 28 February 2013, the hearing on the confirmation of charges in the case The Prosecutor v. Laurent Gbagbo came to an end. The hearing started on 19 February 2013. During the eight-day hearing, the Office of the Prosecutor and the Defence were able to present their evidence to Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The legal representatives of the victims also had the opportunity to present opening and closing statements.
